Your school's hijab partner

She should love wearing her hijab, not just get through the day in it.

Bubble Girl makes hijabs and abayas designed for girls aged 3 to 16, so that modesty feels like something to be proud of rather than something to manage. We supply schools and education institutions directly, in your uniform colours, made for a full school day and PE.

How schools work with us

One supplier for the hijab. You choose how it reaches parents.

A school order gives you the most control: one style, one shade, sold through your own uniform shop. A school code is there for schools that would rather not hold stock. Custom colours and abayas are made on a school order.

A school order for your uniform shop

You order the styles and colours your policy asks for, in the quantities you need, at school pricing. Sell them through your uniform shop or include them in your starter pack, at a price you set.

  • One specified style, one shade: every girl in the same hijab
  • Your colour, your abaya and your emblem are all available this way
  • Top-up orders when you need them

A school code for parents

For schools that would rather not hold stock. Bubble Girl is named on your uniform page, parents order from our site in your approved colours using your school code, and we deliver to the home.

  • Nothing for your office to store or sell
  • All nine uniform colours available to parents
  • Also listed in the partner schools directory

Your colour and your emblem, made to order

If your uniform is a shade outside our nine colours, our SoftTouch hijab is stitched to match it, and school abayas are made to your specification. Both come as part of a school order, and the packaging can carry your emblem.

Concept only: school-branded packaging with a placeholder emblem. Your school's own crest would take its place.

Why it matters in school

The hijab is already on your uniform list. The question is how well it works all day.

Most girls' school hijabs are adult scarves folded down and pinned. That shows up in the playground, in assembly photographs and in PE. A hijab designed for a child changes what a school sees every day.

FitWrap for PE and school sport

A girl in a navy FitWrap sports hijab running on the school field with two classmates in the same PE kit

When girls were asked about wearing a hijab for sport, their two main worries were it coming loose and getting too hot (Muslim Sports Foundation and Youth Sport Trust). FitWrap is our answer for PE. It is one piece, it pulls on over the head, and it needs no pins and no undercap. It is cut for girls rather than sized down from an adult style, so there is less spare fabric to swing or bunch once she starts moving.

What a PE lesson asks of a hijab

Move

PE lessons and playground games. She needs to put it on herself and forget about it.

Sweat

Running and athletics. A close fit at the face and the back of the head matters most here.

Invert

Gymnastics and dance. Very little loose fabric, and nothing to adjust mid-move.

Contact

Football and netball. Soft, secure, no metal pins.

Cotton jersey holds more moisture than polyester. In a normal lesson the difference is small. For long runs or club training it is worth knowing.

What your PE department will want to check

Check FitWrap
Pieces One. Pulls on over the head.
Pins None.
Undercap None needed.
Fabric Cotton jersey and lycra.
Size One size, from age 4. Fit depends on the child, so try a sample.
Branding Plain, no logo.
Care Machine washable. Follow the care label.

Sport rules still apply. The FA, World Netball and the gymnastics federations each set their own kit rules, and the PE teacher decides what is suitable for the lesson. Our guide for parents sets out what each one says.

Because FitWrap is plain, your policy can describe the PE hijab by colour and style, and parents can buy FitWrap from us or a suitable alternative elsewhere. It works on either route above: a school order for your uniform shop, or your school code for parents.

How a partnership works

Three steps from first conversation to first delivery.

Tell us your uniform colours

Send the shade or a sample and your policy wording. We confirm which styles match and send a sample set if you want one.

Approve a sample set, then order

Your uniform committee sees and handles the hijabs before deciding. You then place a school order in your quantities, or choose the school code route instead.

We deliver, and stay your supplier

School orders arrive at the school. Top-ups and custom items are made to order. Your school goes into the partner schools directory, and you can invite us to your events any time.

What we commit to as your partner

  • Keep your approved colours available to your parents
  • Deliver school orders to the school, and parent orders to the home
  • Reply to the school within two working days
  • Turn up to the events we agree, with our paperwork in order
  • List your school in our partner schools directory
  • Keep the range plain and policy-appropriate for school wear
Coming soon

Every partner school gets a place in our directory.

Parents searching for a school hijab find your school listed with the styles and colours you have approved, and your school code ready to use. The directory launches with our first partner schools.

A confidence workshop for your girls

Our confidence workshop has been delivered to over 100 girls at an Islamic girls' school: a session about wearing the hijab with confidence and making it your own. Partner schools can book a session as part of the partnership.

Every order comes with guidance for the girl and her parents, and our written guides are free for any school to share on its own website or in a newsletter.

Meet Safa

Short stories with gentle Islamic reminders, for the younger girls.

Safa is Bubble Girl's own illustrated character. Her short stories are about the small moments of a Muslim girl's day: saying bismillah, being kind to a sibling, putting on a first hijab. They are made for girls aged 3 to 9, and schools that would like them can share them with parents.

Safa is optional. Some madrassas prefer not to use illustrated characters, and we are happy to leave her out of your school's materials.

Keeping up with her friends should never mean letting go of her values. We make the hijab something a girl is proud to be seen in, so that faith and confidence grow together.

Who we are

A mother and daughter, and a range girls tested first.

Bubble Girl is family-founded in the UK. Nidda, our CEO, was named in the UK's Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs 2025. Hawwa, her daughter and our Creative Director, was a Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist at the Faith Inspire Awards 2024 and keeps the range to what girls will actually wear.

We were awarded Fashion Business of the Year at the Islam Channel Business Awards 2025. We would rather earn your trust school by school, starting with a stall.

Bubble Girl was built for one reason: so a Muslim girl grows up loving her hijab, not just wearing it.
