Jersey Tie-Back Undercap

What it is

The Jersey Tie-Back Undercap is a soft jersey cap worn under a hijab to hold hair in place and stop the scarf sliding. It ties at the back rather than pulling on over the head, so the fit is adjustable. Available in black and white. Machine washable. £4.49.

Why the tie matters

Most undercaps are a fixed tube. They fit whoever they were cut for and nobody else. A tie-back adjusts, which is why this one works on a smaller head as well as a full-size one. If your daughter is wearing an undercap for the first time, an adjustable one is usually the easier place to start, because a cap that grips too tightly is one of the most common reasons a girl stops wearing hers.

Wearing it

Pull the cap over the head so the front edge sits where you want your hairline covered. Gather your hair into the back of the cap, then tie the two ties at the nape, tight enough to hold and loose enough to be comfortable for a full day. Put your hijab on over the top.

Any in-stock items ordered alongside a preorder item will be shipped together when the preorder item becomes available, unless you place separate orders.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

Please note that orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These additional charges are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. Any such fees are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon delivery. Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
